Getting Started

No experience is necessary! We welcome complete beginners and tailor our instruction to your level. Our coaches break down complex techniques into simple, easy-to-understand steps. Whether you've never stepped on a mat before or you're an experienced martial artist, we have a place for you.
We encourage everyone to try us before signing up. Nothing tells you about our facility, coaches, and community of members more than experiencing a class firsthand. Simply fill out our contact form to request more information and schedule your trial class.
For your first class, just wear comfortable athletic clothing (t-shirt and shorts or athletic pants). We train barefoot on the mats. Bring water and a positive attitude! If you continue training, we can help you get the appropriate gear for your chosen discipline.
Everyone starts somewhere! Martial arts is one of the best ways to get in shape because you're learning skills while building fitness. Our coaches will help you work at your own pace, and you'll be amazed at how quickly your conditioning improves.

Programs & Classes

We offer Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Gi and No-Gi), Muay Thai, MMA, and Flexibility & Mobility Training. Each program is designed to meet you where you are and help you progress at your own pace. Our coaches, led by Coach Zach (a BJJ black belt and former MMA fighter), provide expert instruction across all disciplines.
Yes! Our Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program is designed specifically for children. We focus on building confidence, discipline, and physical fitness in a fun and safe environment. Our instructors are experienced in working with kids and create an uplifting atmosphere where children can thrive.
In Gi BJJ, you train wearing a traditional martial arts uniform (the Gi) which can be gripped and used as part of your technique. No-Gi BJJ is done in athletic clothing (rash guard and shorts), focusing on control without fabric grips. Both are valuable and we offer training in both styles.
Many of our members train multiple disciplines. In fact, cross-training in BJJ, Muay Thai, and MMA makes you a more well-rounded martial artist. We can help you create a training schedule that incorporates multiple programs.

Safety & Training

Safety is our top priority. Our experienced coaches teach proper technique and supervise all training to minimize injury risk. We create a supportive environment where everyone trains with respect for their partners. The physical fitness, body awareness, and discipline you develop through martial arts actually helps prevent injuries in everyday life.
Sparring (live training) is always optional and controlled. When you're ready to spar, we match you with appropriate partners and set rules to keep everyone safe. You control your intensity level and can stop at any time. Many members train for years without any significant injuries.
Our Youth BJJ program starts at 4 years old and goes until age 12, when kids move on to adult classes. The best way to determine if your child is ready is to bring them in for a trial class. Our instructors can assess their readiness and ability to follow instructions in a group setting.
