Margie Hunt
Margie has been training in jiu-jitsu for about 3 years and holds a blue belt. With a background in gymnastics, dance, yoga, and fitness/figure competitions, she’s dedicated to helping people of all ages learn to move functionally, build strength and flexibility, and prevent injury.
As a proud mom of a kick-ass kid, Margie’s most important role is mother/teacher—empowering children to take control of their bodies, their space, and to understand that they always have some control, no matter how small they may feel.
Margie also runs a successful creative agency by day, and in her free time, she’s an avid Bikram yogi, trains flexibility, aerial arts, handstands, and mobility.
She teaches our kids’ classes Tuesdays and Thursdays and leads an adult mobility & flexibility class for martial arts every Saturday morning at 9 AM.
Join us at Island City Jiu-Jitsu, where Margie is committed to nurturing the next generation of jiu-jitsu practitioners and promoting injury prevention through functional movement!
